PLEASE NOTE:
The Ride of Respect Organisation is currently in a transition period with new people taking over the running of the admin/merchandise and rides side of the organisation. Ali Scott who dealt with the majority of this is no longer dealing with it all as she has retired early and moved abroad.
Lynn Angel is taking over from Ali and at the moment just getting au fait with how things work.
Lynn will be dealing with all the admin/emails/merchandise for the Ride of Respect organisation as well as overseeing the Ring of Red Rides and organisers, assisting Julia and organisers of the Lee Rigby Ride but will still have Amanda Wood-Woolley organising and dealing with all aspects of the Ride of Respect Ride.
Please bear with us during this time.
Thank you, and thanks for your continued support in these challenging times!
This is an event for bikers on Remembrance Sunday
every year - the next ride will be on
Sun 14th November 2021
DETAILS WILL BE UPDATE FOR THE RIDE IN 2021
DETAILS BELOW ARE FOR PREVIOUS RIDES
be at Birch Services for 12 noon, leaving 1pm
The aim is to form a circle of bikers dressed in red riding CLOCKWISE around the M60 making the biggest Poppy in the World.
The ride is intended to present a physical show of support for our Armed Forces, both current and previous. Not every biker goes to a remembrance service on this day, but I do know that they Respect our armed service men and women. This is just another way of showing it.
The Ring of Red event was an idea by Julia Stevenson.
The organiser of the Ring of Red M60 Ride is Jeanette Netty Kiely, assisted by her admin team.
